Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Carracks - geograph.org.uk - 47757.jpg |
English: The Carracks. A group of offshore rock islands. The small boat gives some idea of the size of the islands. Locally in St Ives these rocks are known as "Seal Island". It is only the Ordnance Survey maps which call it "The Carracks". This is a name derived from the Cornish language and simply means "The Rocks". The boat is probably one of the regular tourist trips from St Ives. |
