On the anterior surface of both legs the skin of rather more thanthe middle third was mottled, pigmented, stained and superficiallyscarred, showing evidences of previous multiple bullous lesions, andthree more or less recent bullae about a centimetre in diameter werepresent on the right leg. Theepidermis was rudimentary and impei-fectly developed.
