Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Braunston "Goddess".jpg |
This is a scan from a 35mm transparency which I took in the mid 1970s at Braunston in Rutland, England. It shows a mysterious stone carving known as the "Braunston Goddess", which stands in the churchyard. It was rediscovered (c. 1920) after having been used, face downwards, as a doorstep. This scan is in the Public Domain (however, I retain ownership and copyright of the original transparency and any higher-resolution scans derived from it). If this image is used outside Wikipedia a photographer's credit (Simon Garbutt) would be much appreciated! SiGarb 17:16, 11 December 2005 (UTC) |
