English: Behind the glass there is a display of Sulphur Water bottles which recreates the original purpose of the room.Here Harrogate Old Sulphur Well water was drawn from the well and bottled for transportation to many different parts of the UK.
The small stained glass panels comemorate two members of the Slingsby family, a local landed family.Charles Slingsby, whose panel and particular coat of arms is on the right, was drowned in April 1869 along with four others whilst trying to cross the River Ure during the York-Ainsty Hunt.See (Cokayne, George E.
