Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Birks Cinema, Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.JPG |
English: The derelict Birks Cinema on the corner of Chapel Street and Dunkeld Street in central Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. Built in 1939 it was used as a cinema until the early 1980’s. It then turned into an amusement hall which closed in 2004. The building with its late Art Deco facade stands empty since. Currently (2010) the Friends of the Birks Cinema aim to transform it into a modern, community run cinema again.
