| Description |
English: The Bird's Nest pub in Deptford, Lewisham, London, situated on the corner where Creekside (road) meets the north/south running Church St (A2209) at a roundabout. Viewed from the opposite corner of the roundabout, the elevated train & tracks in the background belong to the Docklands Light Railway, with Deptford Bridge station a short distance away to the right. Pictured in 2006, the lot behind the pub is now occupied by an old bus converted into the 'Big Red' bar & pizzeria, launched on 19 June 2011. See this image for the view from the south in February 2011, with the bus in situ. |
