Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Bird's Nest pub in Deptford, Lewisham, London, situated on the corner where Creekside (road) meets the north/south running Church St (A2209) at a roundabout. Viewed from the south, Church St runs to the left, while Creekside is behind the pub. To the right is the elevated track of the Docklands Light Railway as it curves away north east heading for Greenwich, with Deptford Bridge station a short distance away in the other direction behind the photographer. See this image for a view of the pub from the west (in 2006). The old bus is the future Big Red bar & pizzeria, seen here still under construction. See the close up image for more details on the bus. It was launched on 19 June 2011 (see close up image on launch day.
