372 I. C. BAID AND S. A. DABBAGH are discharged from the perikaryon to the tissue fluid. Some other granules are sent into the axons. The direct relation between the granules and the nucleus is never observed in Rivuloyamwams svriacus. The nucleolus and other chromatin like basophilic elements are present in the oval nuclei (7-10/A in diameter) of these cells. The single nucleolus is large, basophilic and invariably found in the peripheral region of the nucleus. These cells are found in all the regions of the nervous system except in dorso-lateral and in the ventral nerve chain groups.
