Description
English: The Big Lagoon area can be reached by 4 wheel drive vehicle along a sandy track. It is about 20 kilometres from the small town of Denham in the UNESCO World Heritage area of Shark Bay, Western Australia. It is a place of stunning natural beauty and vivid contrasting colours. Kayakers and paddle boarders can expect to see dugongs, turtles, dolphins, sharks, rays and sea snakes. There is a camping area with a viewing deck and free barbecues. Scenic flights are available from the local airstrip.
