Description
English: This Bell Room is located in Garh of Garhkamalpur in Mahisadal, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal in India. This is one of the greatest historical site in West Bengal. This room is built outside the Gopal Ji's mandir during the early age under the rule of Rani Janaki Devi, queen of Mahisadal at that time. It is located in the courtyard of Mahisadal's Rajbari. The bell in this Bell Room was mainly rang during the evening worship of Lord Gopal. The sound of the bell from the room could be heard to a long distance. At present day the bell is not present but the 90's people have saw and felt the devotee sound of the bell calling Lord Gopal.
