| Description |
English: The Beehive. Documented in Pevsner's "Buildings of England", this art-deco air terminal used to be linked by a foot-tunnel to the nearby Gatwick rail station. The old railway station is now demolished, so presumably the tunnel is now lost too. Some interesting information about the Beehive can be seen on the Subterranea Britannica site, http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/sites/g/gatwick_airport_passenger_subway/index.shtml |
