English: The Assembly Rooms, Assembly Street, Leeds. The Assembly Rooms were opened in 1777, providing a venue for events for the prosperous merchants of Leeds. Now they are occupied by nightclubs and restaurants.
See 1411016 for the text on the Blue Plaque by the door. The picture is slightly distorted, because I have stitched together 2 pictures. It would need a very wide angle lens to picture it properly. |
