Title
The Arm-Co-Operator, August 11, 1933
Description
The Arm-Co-Operator is a "newspaper published every two weeks, by the Personal Service Division of the American Rolling Mill Company at Middletown, Ohio, for all Armco Men and Women." The Arm-Co-Operator covers news and events from all of the Armco plants, including: safety, personnel, training classes, clubs and sports activities, health and first aid, celebrations, vacations, births, marriages, deaths, illnesses, recipes, jokes, editorials, and classified ads. This issue marks the resumption of publication of the Arm-Co-Operator, after a hiatus period; the last issue prior to this one was published February 6, 1931. There is a note regarding the submission of material: "Until a staff is appointed, send or give any articles, jokes, problems, personal items, or any other, material you may wish published in The Arm-Co-Operator to the Supervisor of Personal Service of the plant where you work, or to the Editor, General Office, Middletown. Contributions are welcome." This issue's front page articles focus on: the Arm-Co-Operator resuming publication, due to the need to keep Armco men and women informed, and by popular demand; Armco Chairman of the Board, George M. Verity, discussing the Employee Representation plan; and Armco men and women in each division electing representatives for their departments.
