CIFlKIAL STATE AIIVKRTISEMENT Competition Announcement The Hoard of Control of the Stateof California annoinices to all Archi-tects who are citizens of the United.States: That a Competition has been institutedfor the selection of an Architect to de-sign and supervise the construction ofState BuildiuKS to be located in the cityof Sacramento, California, for the con-struction, ei;uipnient and furnishing ofwhich the people of the State of Cali-fornia have voted $3,()00,000.()0 in bonds,the site having been donated by the cityof Sacramento. Under the law, the State Architectsliall act as architectural advisor in con-nection with the Competition. This Competition will be conducted intwo stages. The first stage is open to all Archi-tects, citizens of the United States, whoIiave had the necessary experience, sub-ject to the conditions prescribed in theProgramme of the Competition. The second stage w-ill be open to eight.Architects selected by the Jury fromthose competing in the first stage.
