VAN HOOSEAR THE service to which electricity canbe applied in the construction ofbuildings, both small and large, and ofany material, is increasing and will befound indispensable when the buildersfully appreciate the worth of the electricmotor-driven devices that are now placedat their disposal. It is the aim of thewriter at this time to bring out the usesto which electricity is being appliedthrough the motor and otherwise inbuilding construction work, to the profitof anyone connected with the erection ofbuildings. Work that can be done by means ofelectricity is limited only by the desiresof the individual, and can be applied fromthe first operation of clearing a lot tothe last operation of polishing the floors.Starting with the pioneer work ofclearing a heavily wooded site that isfrequently encountered, a motor-drivenwood saw is set up to work into cordwood any timber that may be standingon the premises;
