English: The Ancient House Ipswich The Lakeland store is in the Grade 1 listed 'Ancient House', one of the oldest buildings in Ipswich. Originally a merchant's house, the first part of the building dates back to the 15th Century. It's said that King Charles II hid from his enemies in the Attic Room after the Battle of Worcester.
