Prominences and de-formities about wrists, knees, ankles, scap-ulae and clavicles. Family History. Mother living and well atfiftv-two. Father living and well at fifty-seven. Five brothers and two sisters all livingand in good health. Previous History. Youngest child, no his-tory of tuberculosis. No cardiac renal diseasenor any chronic diathesis; normal birth;adenoids in childhood. Bony tumors aboutjoints first noticed about the age of four.

Nosoreness, no tenderness, no evidence of in-flammation. Physical Examination. Height 4 feet 8inches, weight 82 pounds. Patient a cheerful,alert, intelligent-looking boy. Long loose ex-tremities, good free and easy function of alljoints. Hyperextention of 10 to 15 degrees at elbows. Upper extremities seem slightlyshorter than normal. Moderate hypophysis,prominent bony enlargements at wrists,knees, and ankle joints, over the clavicles andinferior angle of left scapulae. No apparentenlargement of the thyroid. Von Grafes andStellwags signs present. Tonsils enlargedand the cheesy material exuded. Wide areabetween uvula and post-pharyngeal wallsuggested adenoids.
