Foreign body had shifted from trachea into left bronchus, (a) Expiration, firstexamination; (6.) Slight evidence of these signs is occasion-ally present for a period of hours afterremoval of the foreign body if the inflam-matory reaction has been severe, but ifit is at all striking or persists after twenty-four hours another foreign body mustbe assumed to be present until provenotherwise.
