It has beenstated by other observers that the progressof the lung lesion was greater on the right ing the part of the lung in which a lunglesion from inhalation of granite dust has itsinception. EVIDENCE GAINED FROM NON-SERIAL FILMS In a work of this kind one must of neces-sity studv non-serial films, because it takes acutter thirty years to produce a lung lesionwhich would be diagnosed if he iiad consti-tutional symptoms as lobar pneumonia. Ittakes him between twenty and twenty-fiveyears to produce a lung lesion which wouldbe diagnosed as broncho-pneumonia if hehad constitutional symptoms.
