Where the parametria are involved, theexposure should be increased 4 or 4^ gm. extensive areas may very likely be stillfurther reduced. Where the needles are used, the treat-ment is given under gas anesthesia. Whereno needles are used, the normal procedureis to treat in the knee-chest posture, with-out anesthesia.
