Whether or not surgical pro-cedure is necessary in these cases dependson the severity or persistency of thesymptoms; and whether or not permanentrelief is obtained by surgical procedure isnot within the scope of this article. Tooshort a time has elapsed since these caseshave been operated upon, to determine this,but immediate relief has been obtained inmost of the cases, and one of the cases hasbeen free from symptoms for about six-years. The roentgen findings which are char-acteristic of a veil in the right hypochon-drium are as follows: i.
