GENERAL VIEW DES MOINES AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW, NOVEMBER 6-10. ation of national publicity and other matters of moment to the trade. This session was presided over by Roy Wilcox, state vice-president of the S. A. p. In the 94 classes scheduled, over 900 entries were made. Exhibits came from all directions, the chrysanthemums and violets from Mrs. R. E. Darbee, San Francisco, Calif., coming the greatest distance. F. Dorner & Sons, Lafayette, Ind., exhibited their new rose, Marie. A fine display of chrysanthemums in the newer varieties was made by El- mer D. Smith & Co., Adrian, Mich. In the table decorations, some very fine and expensive settings were seen. The covers and service were furnished and settings made by society women of the city.
