The Ba.vk Lick Is a camp stove which the boys of the troop of Boone Scouts,who frequented Bank Lick in old Kentucky, were wont tobmld and on it to cook the big channel catfi-sh, or Uttle pondbass or other food. The Bank Lick is made of flat stones and isone or two stories hi^ ^Figs. 127 and 128;. The Boone Scoutsflourished in Kenton County, Kentucky-, fifty odd years ago. The Altjlh Fi£e-place Is built of logs ^Yig. 132), of stones, of sod, or of logs filled withsods or stone Fig. 131;, and topped with clay HFigs. 130and 132).
