Text Appearing Before Image:
rst began to makekallitype prints by Mr. Halls formula I placed one of myprints in a south window, where the sun could shine on it allday—provided it wasnt cloudy. That print remained so ex-posed for fourteen months. It was considerably weather-beaten at the end of that experience, and had lost very slightly, but I am sure was not nearly as much faded as any othersilver paper so tested. I would doubt the resistance of aplatinum under the conditions. And now a last word for kallitype. It is certainly a con-venience not to be dependent on the photo-supply house forvarious sizes and qualities of papers, and the possibility oftheir just being out of what you want in a rush. You canalways make up what you need in very short notice. Andperhaps you would like to save a few dollars on your paperexpense. For example, sufficient paper to cut a gross 5x7size can be sensitized at the cost of an hours time, the paper15 or 20 cents, and for the chemicals about 25 cents. What more need be said? 190
