The paper support will carry a printing frame as large asIOXI2 without additional fastening, but when making verylarge enlargements, a drawing board is used to hold the paper—it is advisable to steady same at the top by means of small ironclamps, which may be purchased for a few cents. In conclusion, it may be said that the apparatus is easilymade at a very low cost, and the writer trusts it will be of asmuch service to others as it has been to him.

URING the summer months a number of cameriststake long journeys to remote parts where it isinconvenient to develop, or have their films de-veloped. Upon their return home they may possibly find,after developing the films, lines running the length of the film,or the imprint of the exposure number on the film, causedby long contact with the outside paper. The following method, which I have used repeatedly, hasproven a great success. After the film is exposed and re-moved from the camera, take it into a darkroom, or else waituntil night, and unwind it to where the film is fastened tothe paper; then cut the paper off, not the film, rewind the film,after which wind the paper cut off, back on to the film.
