English: The Alice Lisle pub on Rockford Green. This building used to be Rockford Primary School, which closed some time in the 1960s. There is a photo in the bar of the school in 1940 when it was requisitioned for military purposes in connection with Ibsley Airfield. For more on the pub's name see 804686
The pub's sign is in the next square, see 705244 Beyond the pub is Rockford Lake and there is a large sitting out area overlooking it and a children's play area. |
