English: The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton is a 34th Sherlock Holmes short story written by Arthur Conan Doyle and first published in the Collier's magazine (US) on 26 march 1904 and in The Strand Magazine in april 1904 (UK). Illustration by Frederic Dorr Steele (in Collier's magazine, 1904) with the caption:
