Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Abercorn Basin, Belfast. The Abercorn Basin falls into two squares. Most of the photo is in this square. The SW side was used for the import of coal. At the NE (just left of centre) is the Hamilton dry dock - now disused but previously used for repair work on small ships). On the right, the quay (in later years) was used by vessels lying up. It is now being redeveloped as part of the "Titanic Quarter" http://www.titanic-quarter.com/. Continue to 669781.
