English: The A487 Felinheli Bypass This stretch of road built in the 1990s bypasses the village of Felinheli with its narrow main street. The road follows a route along the steep slope above the Menai Straits and its construction involved making massive cuttings and building embankments. Many are highly critical of the three lane arrangement, and the bypass has seen a number of bad accidents in the past ten years. |
