Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The "Polarlight" at Bangor. See 570729. There was also a competing service to the Isle of Man operated by Glenlight Shipping. Glenlight was the successor to the various operators of Clyde puffers. Even in 1986 it still owned several small (diesel) ships which could trade to the smaller harbours and quays in the west of Scotland. They usually used their own deck cranes to load or discharge their cargoes. This is the "Polarlight" at the Central Pier, Bangor.
