Description
Svenska: De två nya akademiledamöterna Sten Lindroth och Arthur Lundkvist.
Svenska Akademien är ingen revolutionär institution, förklarade Anders Österling på sin rogivande skånska, och med ens brast alla i skratt och glömde bort att högtidssammanträdet på fredagen var en allvarsam tillställning. Visserligen hade man två nya ledamöter att hälsa välkomna, Sten Lindroth och Artur Lundkvist, men de efterträdde två bortgångna, Bo Bergman och Gunnar Ekelöf. Och trots detta fanns det kvar två släckta ljus på akademiens blåskimrande bord. Det ena representerade Erik Lindegren, det andra Birger Ekeberg. Det ovanligt stora manfallet motiverade en dämpad stämning.
