Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Caption text says "Ford, Cincinnati shortstop, is safe at second on Malone's error in the tenth inning of the afternoon game at Wrigley field yesterday. This is the play that aided the Reds to score their victory. Ford led off with a single and May laid down a bunt. With plenty of time to force Ford at second, Malone threw wide, pulling English off the base. Another sacrifice sent Ford to third and he scored on an infield out."
