Deutsch: Wohnhaus in Tharandt, Pienner Straße, zuvor Sidonienstraße 170.
English: Pienner Straße 36, previously Sidonienstraße 170. The first building on this site was a plain rectangular dwelling house without farmland. It was inhabited by woodmen and -craftsmen. The building was first mentioned in 1564. In 1897 the forest chemist Hans Adolf Wislicenus bought premises, pulled down the plain building and erected the urban villa. He sold his house in 1935 to the plant chemist Heinrich Wienhaus. At the end of WW II Wienhaus gave shelter to Friedrich Richter (1896 – 1961), editor of the famous Beilstein Handbook of Organic Chemistry. On May 13, 1945 Heinrich Wienhaus negotiated the future of the Tharandt Academy of Forestry with Officers of the Soviet occupation forces. This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Tharandt.
