Michael Navarro, supply officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46), left, presents Thai chefs from the catering department of the Pattaya Marriot Hotel with Tortuga ball caps in the ship’s galley during a cooking exchange with U.S. Navy chefs as a part of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2013 . CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste.
