Title
Standing Figure
Description
English: Although made in a two-part mold, this small figure gives an impression of being modeled with vigor: the round belly extends beyond the chest; the back is convex at the shoulders. The proportions, position of the hands, and form of the bracelets suggest a connection with early stone images of Vishnu and a comparable date, perhaps in the 6th century.
