Théâtre de Dionysos. Reliefs du proskénion, vus du nord. - Cette épreuve appartient à un album intitulé Vues d'Athènes et de ses monuments publié par l'auteur en 1868. Le point de vue légèrement surélevé offre, en arrière-plan, un champ important sur le paysage athénien. La photographie a été réalisée peu après le déblaiement des hauts-reliefs du proskénion. La niche du Silène accroupi est en effet encore obstruée et le relief ne semble pas complètement dégagé. |
