Théâtre de Dionysos, trône du prêtre de Dionysos. - La composition de la photographie est centrée sur le trône en marbre du prêtre de Dionysos, situé au milieu des sièges d'honneur du premier rang du koilon, et qui domine l'orchestra. L'éclairage de biais favorise la lisibilité des reliefs de ce trône, en lien avec l'iconographie dionysiaque : pieds en forme de pattes de lion, satyres en bas-relief sur le dossier, animaux fantastiques (griffons ?) sur le cadre. Les accoudoirs ne sont pas conservés mais ils étaient certainement sculptés. |
