The testicle division passesinto a shorter, wider, pouch-shaped division, the sperm vesicle, 256 COM PA RA TIVE A NA TOM Y CHAP. and this emerges by a short and narrow terminal piece, the duetusejaeulatorius, into the cloaca. Above the duetus ejaculatorius thereoften lie two elongated sacs, invaginations of the cloaca. Each saccontains a chitinous spiculum. In copulation the spicula may beprotruded from the cloacal aperture by special muscles
