Realizes a landscape sculpture “Mineral garden“ on the Earth Weaving concept. 47 tons of pink granite, totems of 5 meters, 80 m2 pavement in pink granite, pyramid, steps, ring tied with the Earth. Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with architect Caron in Nantes

Tetsuo Harada carves the environmental sculpture in granit called "mineral Garden" on the concept Earth Weaving. Monumental sculpture of 47 tons of pink granite Perros Guirec in Britany. Totem is in two pieces has 5 meters high. The scene is covered of pebbles and paving for 80 m2, the ring, the pyramid, the cone, the stairs are also in granite carved by tetsuo Harada himself from several blocs.

The sculpture shaped totem is a signal to be seen from afar. On the ground many small sculptures of geometric shapes are possibilities of games for children for people to rest. Totem de 5 mètres de haut,il est composé de deux parties posées l'une sur l'autre. La scène est faite de galets du Cap Fréhel et de dallage en granit épais representant 80 m2. L'anneau, la pyramide, le cône, l'escalier ont été sculpté par Tetsuo Harada aussi; ils sont disposés sur le sol de manière à rendre conviviale l'ensemble. Ces petites sculptures de formes géométriques sont des possibilités de jeux pour les enfants ou pour se reposer. La sculpture placée devant en forme de totem se veut comme un signal pour être vue de loin. Des aménagements de plantes se marient très bien avec cette matière noble qu’est le granit rose. Les dix blocs de granit massif ont été taillés dans la carrière Hignard de Lanhélin. C’est un travail de taille directe du marteau et au burin. Au total plus de 47 tonnes de granit ont été travaillées, transportés sur le site puis installés par Tetsuo Harada.Le travail va du dessin, à la maquette, à la réalisation en carrière pendant de nombreux mois de travail de sculpture, puis les blocs sculptés sont transportés, assemblés. Enfin ce sont les finitions de maçonnerie et d'aménagement de plantes. Concours “1%” du Ministère de l’Economie et des Finances, en relation avec l’architecte Caron de Nantes.
