| Description |
English: Tetralithon by the A272. Near a crossroads on the A272, east of Bramdean, is a small stone circle erected by local eccentric Colonel George Greenwood (1799-1875). It looks as if originally there were six of these tetralithons (one larger stone balanced on top of three smaller ones) in a circle about 8 metres across, but only two remain intact. The signpost in the background points along the minor road to Brockwood Park, the estate where George Greenwood lived. |
