[edit]DescriptionTethys - Rev 15 (36587084224).png |
Natural color lookback image of Tethys taken by Cassini after its first targeted flyby of the moon on September 24, 2005. This image was taken from a distance of ~45,000km. The moon is silhouetted against the faintly lit nightside of Saturn, although this glow is mostly overwhelmed by stray light entering the optical system.
