Description Camera an research equipment aboard the U.S. Navy auxiliary USS Compass Island (AG-153). Compass Island was a navigational research test vessels for the the Polaris ballistic missile system and was supporting a Polaris A-3 missile launch of the Royal Navy ballistic missile submarine HMS Resolution (S22) off Florida (USA), in July 1977.
