[edit]DescriptionTerrier-Sized Green Moray Eel (108074029).jpg |
I found this beautiful, large, green moray eel on the house reef at the Sunset Waters Beach resort in Curacao. There is nothing in the frame to help convey size, but you must believe me that this moray was the size of a small dog (and twice as friendly). I often laugh when I read clichés about there being no large fish in the Dutch Antilles. I recently saw a comment by a returning diver that read, "Like the books say, no big critters here, except for the 6 foot long tarpon that accompanied us on most of our dive." I hate to see this guy's idea of a big fish! O) |
