Description
English: Terracotta panels on southern wall of charchala Jaleswar Shiva Temple at Shantipur in Nadia district. The temple was in all probabilities established in the 18th century. though many scholars opine that the temple was built in 17th century by Raghab Ray. The temple has terracotta plaques on its eastern wall and southern walls. A newly built Natmandir has been built adjacent to the Southern wall of the temple.
