English: Terrace Hill Gardens, Belfast. Near the Minnowburn River in Belfast and accessed via Freddy's Steps 701157.
Terrace Hill Garden and viewpoint offer one of the finest viewpoints in South Belfast, with outstanding views across the Lagan valley to Malone House (see 701167) and the Belfast Hills beyond. Originally constructed in the mid 1930's the garden became overgrown and dilapidated. Since 2001 The National Trust has been restoring it to much of its former colourful glory. Any information on the house that is visible though the trees beyond appreciated. |
