Description
Deutsch: Die „Termenei“ ist ein Waldgebiet am Südrand des Reinhardswaldes, im Landkreis Kassel.
Die Termenei war bis in die 1940er-Jahre ein Truppenübungsplatz. Nach 1945 wurden große Teile des offenen Geländes - überwiegend mit Fichten - aufgeforstet.
Das Sturmtief Friederike (Januar 2018) war das großflächige Ende dieser Nadelbaumbestände - unmittelbar angrenzende Laubbaumflächen (im Reinhardswald insbesondere Eichen und Buchen) zeigten dagegen keine nennenswerten Schäden.
Viele der Nadelbäume brachen nicht ab, sondern stürzten zusammen mit dem Wurzelballen um (im Hintergrund).
Aufnahmeort: außerhalb des NSG „Naturschutzgebiet Termenei bei Wilhelmshausen“, entlang des Rundweges "3": beim Abtransport der Windwurf-Fichten werden gesunde Laubbäume verletzt.
