A abertura da época termal é sempre uma data muito importante para o Concelho de Castro Daire, pois com a abertura da Estância Termal assiste-se a um maior afluxo de pessoas até ao Concelho, contribuindo assim para o desenvolvimento da economia e do progresso do mesmo.

Hoje as Termas são associadas, tanto a cura como a prevenção e lazer, constituindo para muitos como opção de férias. Neste campo também as Termas do Carvalhal aparecem como uma opção de bom gosto.

Oferecendo aos utentes a possibilidade de usufruírem do melhor que a natureza pode proporcionar, esta região tem, entre outros, como principais atractivos turísticos o Rio Paiva, a Serra do Montemuro, o Património Histórico e a sua gastronomia. Estes recursos Naturais são de uma riqueza de fauna e flora impar, que aliada à beleza única, torna esta região um destino de férias inesquecível.

Com recursos humanos qualificados na área da hidrobalneaterapia, nomeadamente com formação específica na área do Bem-estar Termal, as Termas do Carvalhal têm conquistado públicos graças também à excelente acessibilidade rodoviária que a A24 oferece.
