Description
English: Thumbs up for suffragettes! The Tennessee Woman Suffrage Memorial is located at Market Square in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. It honours Elizabeth Avery Meriwether, Lizzie French of Knoxville and Anne Dallas Dudley of Nashville and of Memphis.[2] The base of the sculpture features text on the campaign and a quote by Harriot Eaton Stanton Blatch:
