Description	JOPLIN, Mo. -- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' contractors begin construction of the two community housing sites that can accommodate up to 346 manufactured homes. The community will include will include development of temporary gravel pads for housing foundations, emergency storm shelters, bus shelters, mailbox units, gravel and asphalt roadways and all utilities related to the infrastructure of the community, including a sewer system and waterline installation. The Corps envisions creating a community with an environment where people can live, not just sleep.
