Summary
[edit]DescriptionTemporary Work Bridge over Yadkin River Nearly Complete.jpg |
English: Construction of the temporary work bridge is nearly complete. At this time, crews have less than 300 feet left to build, and they anticipate finishing by June.
Once it is done, the temporary work bridge will be almost 0.5 miles long and 38 feet wide. It has the capacity to carry 500 tons of construction equipment and materials. It serves as the platform that supports the manpower and heavy equipment needed to build the new I-85 bridges over the Yadkin River. |
